Jnr VP Product Controller
It is an interesting and challenging role covering an area of treasury across products including Loans Deposits, Bonds, Bills, Repos, Interest Rate and Cross Currency Swaps, Futures, Medium Term Notes, Deposits, Commercial Papers and FX. It is based within a team of six, reporting into the Snr VP and with other team members beneath you being at the Analyst and AVP levels. It is an all-rounded product control position which holds responsibility for the PL, Price Verification and Balance Sheet Control of this area.
Key points and requirements:
* 8 yrs + experience with a strong Product Control background, ideally within Treasury or similar product class (e.g. fixed income). Product knowledge of treasury, swaps, FX, long term deposits loans.
* Accounting qualification preferred and/or strong background in accounting.
* Previous managerial exposure is essential as this role is most likely to be groomed into a full manager of the team. You will also be required to mentor and develop staff and ensure accuracy of their work from the outset.
* Ability and experience in projects and change as this will be a smallish but definite part of the role.
* Systems skills across VBA, Access, Excel preferred.
* Strong communication skills and ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders such as the front office and IT.
