Junior Accountant recruitment
Title: Jr. Accountant / Carry Plans Group / Asset Management
Location: New York
Group Overview: The Carry Plans Group administers various employee incentive programs and provides financial accounting and reporting associated with these programs.
Role: Support financial accounting and reporting group processes, providing necessary assistance in recording journal entries into the General Ledger system, Firm reporting and compensation projects. This role is designed for a resourceful, adaptable, self-directed individual with the ability to meet even the most challenging goals due to outstanding troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- General ledger support and maintenance.
- Cash distributions and drawdowns to/from Carry Plan members.
- Preparation of K-1s, including book/tax income allocations and supplemental tax schedules.
- Preparation of portfolio summaries to carry participants and internal reports.
- Handling carry participants requests and inquiries.
Requirements:
- Professional in accounting field with 1-3 years of experience (public, private or combo).
- CPA/CPA track preferred.
- Investran experience is preferred.
- Accounting majors only.
