Summary:

Liquid Compass is looking for an enthusiastic, technologically savvy, streaming-radio-aware, attention to detail oriented individual.  Core responsibilities will include working within our Client Services Division to assist with trafficking, player deployment, station provisioning, and assisting our development team with quality assurance projects before we take new products live.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Perform comprehensive functionality and regression testing on QA submissions

Review functionality that is scheduled for release prior to live launch, ensuring quality standards are upheld

Traffic commercial content submitted by our radio station clientele

Provide listener support for our streaming radio products

Deploy media players for new client installs

Respond to client requests for new or existing product inquiries

 

Must Have:

2-3 years experience in software / web applications with emphasis in functional testing and quality assurance Thorough understanding of web development concepts and quality control methodologies

Excellent written and oral skills

Well versed with Internet and streaming radio technologies

Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and browser compatibility issues

Must be thorough, methodical and detail oriented

Able to follow test plans, and communicate orally and in writing in a concise manner

Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment

Must have expert knowledge of Microsoft based programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)

Nice to Have (preferred):

Bachelor’s Degree

Radio industry experience (trafficking or programming preferred)

Knowledge of radio industry operations

Web development / programming experience

Basic knowledge of Photoshop
