I am working with a highly reputable trading house that is expanding their trading division in East Africa; having established the trading desk they are looking to expand and add traders to their team to assist. They are looking for candidates with some knowledge of the soft commodities and agricultural markets.
Responsibilities for this Position:
- Assist Head of Desk to establish companies’ presence within the coffee trading space.
- Have some knowledge of the commodities market and agricultural products.
- Add success and profitability to the team and learn from the experienced traders on the desk.
- There is the opportunity to develop your own team within a specific product.
- Assist in the expansion of the team going forward by increasing market share in specific markets.
Skills required for the role:
- 2+ years of commercial commodities trading experience
- Willing to be located in East Africa
- High Calibre Degree in Relevant Subject
