Junior Cross-Asset Trader – Asset Manager

A global leading cross-asset focused Asset Management firm is looking to bring in a trader with around two years experience to work in a portfolio management support role. It is a great opportunity for a junior trader with around 2 years experience to make that desired move to the buy side. The role will be multi-faceted and the successful candidate will gain exposure across the fixed income, quantitative investment strategies and equity funds that they run. Therefore there is great scope to take on more responsibility and grow as a trader.

The Fundamental responsibilities will be executing trades on behalf of the portfolio managers, playing an active role in trade idea generation and the undertaking of research and analysis of opportunities with the motivation to take on more risk management responsibilities.

The successful candidate is likely to have 2 years trading experience and a Masters degree from a top university. The successful candidate will ideally come from a role that has given him exposure across asset classes.

REQUIRED:

2 years trading experience ideally in across asset classes.

Motivation to move towards the buy side.

Strong communication skills.

This is a role in London with a leading multi-strat focused Asset Manager. The role is to work alongside senior portfolio managers executing trades across the different funds they operate, generating trade ideas through research and analysis and gradually moving towards portfolio manager responsibilities. It is a great opportunity for a junior to mid level candidate to get their foot in the door with a leading buy-side group.
