JUNIOR ESTIMATOR
Out client, a manufacturer of customized fabrication and weldments, is looking for a Junior Estimator to join their team on contract basis in Brantford.
Main responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the development of schedules on which the estimate is built.
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand the requirements ensuring accuracy of estimates.
The ideal candidate would have a background in structural steel along with past work experience as an estimator in the millwork, welder, and/or acrchitectural metals companies. The candidate must be able to read drawings, have some CAD drafting experience, look at blueprints and must be able to work off spreadsheets for quotations, as well as have strong communication skills both written and verbal, and proficient with MS Office applications.
