Junior Financial Analyst (m/f) in Investment Management recruitment

Your new duties and responsibilities
As a member of our team at AIM you will analyze, monitor and help to steer the Euro 25bn investment portfolio of Allianz Versicherungs AG which is the group’s property casualty insurance carrier in Germany. You will be in charge of different investment topics spanning the overall portfolio as well as participating in the investment steering of one or more portfolios.
You will work together with asset managers, investment managers and risk controllers. Additionally, you will become a part-time member of one of AIM’s global expert teams for financial markets and insurance investments.
Your job will include:
- Investment analysis, reporting and decision proposals for top management
- Performance calculation, analysis and attribution analysis
- Ad hoc analysis of investment portfolio specifics
- Risk controlling and reporting
- Further enhancement of analysis methods and tools and reporting standards
- Cooperation with the international teams of Allianz Investment Management
Required qualifications and experience
Qualifications
- Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, or computer sciences with a major in business and economics
- Fluent in English and German, any additional European language a plus
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience
- Ideally relevant working experience and/ or relevant internships
- Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills
- Strong interest in capital markets
- Sound knowledge of international accounting standards and/ or insurance regulation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
