Junior Human Resources Business Partner – Singapore recruitment
The HR team is responsible for providing consultative HR advice to line managers to help develop and implement strategic HR initiatives and best practices that align with the business strategy.
We have an exciting new role for an energetic and enthusiastic Junior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our busy team. This is your opportunity to join a global investment bank with an outstanding reputation, provide input into the Singapore HR strategy and coordinate and run Singapore HR projects. Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will play a support role with various Singapore HR initiatives and general responsibilities for all HRBPs and also, a chance to work with the subject matter experts (SMEs) in Singapore. The role requires a strong team player who thrives in a demanding, fast paced global environment where the ability to leverage resources from multiple areas to deliver results. The job responsibilities will include rotation amongst various teams including Singapore HRBPs, Campus Recruitment, and Compensation. Core role and responsibilities will include as follows:
- To drive and coordinate Singapore HR strategic initiatives, partnering with all HRBPs, e.g. Wellness program, training development, talent management.
- To drive and facilitate the Singapore New Hire Orientation program which includes consolidation of all the presentation slides from different presenters and smooth delivery of the program
- To create Singapore HR dashboard for Head of Singapore HR, i.e. compilation of key HR metrics for for the Singapore management committee
- To help coordinate and drive any process improvement initiatives, consolidation of information required by SMEs
- To help coordinate campus roadshows and networking sessions organized by the Campus Recruitment team
Skills
- One to two years of relevant HR or Organizational Development experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate strong relationships
- Ability to communicate and partner professionally and effectively, at all levels of the business
- Excellent organization / prioritisation skills
- Ability to navigate in a highly complex, matrix organization and operate effectively in an often ambiguous environment
- Dedicated team player
- Positive 'can do' attitude
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English,
- Strong PC skills with hands-on experience in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Outlook, Lotus Notes and PeopleSoft
Education/ Professional qualifications
- Human Resources Degree or equivalent
