Junior / Mid Emerging Market Sales
Leading Investment Bank looking to add a junior / mid leve; sales person to their Emerging Markets FIC Sales team in NEW YORK. The candidate will have a MINIMUM 3yrs (up to 7yrs) of experience be on the Fixed Income Emerging Market sales desk covering accounts predominantly in North America. A small transferable book of US-based Institutional accounts is preferable.
Requirements:
- The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience (up to 7yrs) on an emerging market sales desk selling generalist fixed income / FX ( Sovereigns Bonds / Government Bonds / Corporate Bonds / Corporate Credit ).
- A very good knowledge of emerging markets – LATAM in particular
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with institutional clients in the USA
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Improve levels of business passing through the emerging markets sales desk, improving profitability ( particularly for LATAM )
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas with regards to emerging market fixed income and FX ( Sovereigns / Government Bonds / Corporate Bonds / Corporate Credit ).
