USD Treasury trader
US Treasury trader, Location: New York City
Global investment bank is looking to hire a USD cash rates trader for straight risk taking role in the NYC office. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record market making US Treasury bonds with experience covering a USD swap book which will be required of the candidate from time to time. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well respected bank in a highly sought after trading role.
Responsibilities for:
- Lead market maker for US treasury bonds in US hours
- Cover other books from time to time, swaps or SSAs
- Manage own risk and potentially own book
Skills / Attributes required for:
- Minimum 4 years trading cash interest rate products
- Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
- Must be self sufficient profitably managing and taking risk in US Treasury bonds
- Highly educated to Msc level preferred
- Series 7 and 63 required
