Junior Operations Executive
Supporting the Operations Executives in their day to day duties.
To be a “hands on” team member involved in the day to day execution of WWS product flows in and out of warehouse by truck, barge, vessel and rail, and stock management and associated administration.
Understanding the customer needs in all different products and providing first class customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Support Operations Executives on incoming and outbound cargo
- Data entry, update and reconcile transactions in our Integrated Warehouse Management System and control of Inventories and our 3rd party operators.
- To record, process and execute 3rd party service invoices and liaise with accounting
- Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members and Management
- Provide timely and accurate information to both external and internal customers
- Liaise with transport companies for just in time deliveries, as well as efficient route and rate planning
Key Results Areas:
- Timely execution of deliveries to minimize costs and maximize profit
- Smooth and adequate information flow (written and verbal) between internal customers and 3rd parties
- To take responsibility for third party service orders and the processes required
Education, experience, skills:
- Education in Administration/Operations or similar, equally equivalent work experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch essential, other languages such as German, French or a Central European language beneficial.
- Previous commercial experience in administration or operations advantageous
