Junior Product Consultant recruitment

Our solutions mitigate trading risk and improve regulatory financial compliance so our clients can stay ahead of complex trading demands, increasing regulatory challenges, complex market conditions and a host of other changing financial compliance mandates. We currently serve over 300 financial businesses around the world. Our clients include over 20 of the world’s top 50 banks, as well as many industry leading investment firms, asset managers, hedge funds, fund administrators, and global corporations.

Our software solution provides its clients with a complete, end-to-end collateral management solution for proactively managing collateral across their organisation/s. It supports multiple financial products (including OTC, Repo, Securities Lending and Central Clearing) and supports an aggressive development schedule to continually meet clients evolving business and regulatory requirements.

Our software solution has a large, diverse and growing client base including tier 1 banks, central banks, buy-side institutions and non-financial firms.

The dedicated global product team is made up of ex-collateral practitioners who all bring a wealth of market experience to bear in product support and development. A position has become available for a junior product consultant to assist the team in all areas of our software solution development, implementation and product support.

The successful candidate will be presented with opportunities to gain cross-product market awareness, business processing skills and software and product development skills, in addition to working within, and learning from, a senior, high-performing and proactive team of business experts. Some travel may be required.

Key areas of responsibility

The role is varied and the successful candidate will be expected to be able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously. Key areas of focus will be:

• Pre-sales – supporting/providing product demonstrations for prospective clients

• Implementation – supporting client on-boarding and the seamless rollout of Our software solution to new clients

• Training – of new clients, and potentially of existing clients with the introduction of new functionality

• Testing – supporting the internal testing of new functionality

• Supporting both existing and prospective clients relating to the Our software solution

Skills

The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic and busy team of senior practitioners. As such they should be able to work flexibly, both within a team and off their own initiative. They will be expected to gain expertise in our software product in order to carry out the above responsibilities, and should approach this pro-actively with enthusiasm.

Qualifications and Experience

• Business knowledge and awareness – either 6 months+ relevant experience within the financial services industry (Collateral experience preferred but not essential) or a relevant business-related qualification to degree standard

• Ability to demonstrate previous activity or pro-active interest in these areas would be beneficial

• Languages beneficial but not essential
