Title - Junior Product Controller
An exciting opportuntiy has arisen for a CA qualfied person to join a Product Control team that trades on global indices. This market participant is an established, global player in the financial markets trading community.
Responsiblities
- The role initially is a plain, vanilla Product Control role with a focus on PL reporting for cash equities on APAC indices (ASX 200, Hang Seng)
- Produce the daily profit and loss reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Swift reconciliation of front office profit and loss estimates
- Establish mantain strong lines of communication with traders and management
- Review of daily reconciliations and resolution of breaks
- Become involved in ad-hoc projects and respond to ad-hoc requests from traders
Prequisites
- The suitable candidate will be CA qualified with experience at an accounting firm or a bank
- Candidates with around 2-4 years experience at these firms would be best suited to this position
- Meticulous, attention to detail
- Strong microsoft excel proficiency
- Willingness to learn and progress
- Strong communicator
- Knowledge of financial markets is preferable but not essential
Compensation
$70-80k plus Super. Discretionary per annum bonus.
