US listed Hardware / Software Company within the Technology industry who are growing from strength to strength both through internal growth and also acquisitions are looking to recruit a Junior Project Manager on a permanent basis.
Job Role
Plans, Implements, Monitors and Schedules the progress of assigned projects, ensuring at all time that the customer is happy and also the final product / project meet the customer’s expectations within budget and time.
Skills / Responsibilities;
- Development Project Management, from start of projects (Business Requirements), through the certification process.
- Manages issues and Risks through effective project and Risk issue Management.
- Coordinates and monitors activities of third party service providers if applicable to ensure the service procedures are followed and handled effectively
- Ensure all deliverables meet customer needs, market needs and all aspects of the SDLC is covered and handled properly
- To take overall responsibility for the implementation and management of all software projects assigned to the Team. From a functional, quality, timeliness and budgetary prospective.
- To provide regular information to Senior Project Manager on the status of all projects in progress.
- Coordinates internal resources and monitors the progress to ensure that project is running smoothly.
- Escalates problems and follows up to ensure resolution.
- Facilitate meetings as needed with external customers and internal staff to discuss current and outstanding account/project issues.
Person Specification
- Prince 2 qualification either completed or in the process of completing.
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills and experience in client facing.
