Position Description:
The Global Workforce Strategy Solutions ('GWSS') team is an internal team that helps business units think strategically about HOW (Employee v. Vendor) and WHERE (CBD, Near Shore, Far Shore) their business or operation should be staffed and located. GWSS works with key stakeholders in identifying opportunities in Morgan Stanley's metro sites to transition roles to offshore and near-shore sites and to execute on these plans in the most efficient way, all aligned to the Firm's long term growth strategy.

The GWSS Global Transition Management Team is a project team which focuses on the Firm's Deployment (Off-shoring) Strategy. This group primarily project manages deployments on behalf of the Business Units and Firmwide departments to Morgan Stanley's Alternate Sites, and more recently to 3rd party vendors. These sites include: Glasgow, Budapest, Singapore, Baltimore and Mumbai.

The Project Coordinator will provide advisory services to Business Units who are completing requests to initiate a transition through an internally developed system called CRT. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project artifacts (timelines, status reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, document repositories, and reporting tools), facilitating meetings for the day-to day running of each Transition, as well as providing advisory services for any issues or queries the teams involved in a Transition may have. Cross divisional interaction is key to ensuring a successful transition.

• Act as a guardian of the transition methodology and ensure compliance with the controls in the process. Work with the Transition Manager, Client Relationship Managers and Sending/Receiving management teams to ensure all transition steps are successfully completed to the required acceptance criteria.
• Provide Administrative and Process support for the entire lifecycle of a Transition.
• Assist BU's in understanding how to accurately complete templates for supporting documents, including, providing guidance, lessons learned and exemplars. Incumbernt will not be responsible for providing/ documenting content for these support documents. This may include interviewing representatives of the Business Units on the nature of their Transitions to ensure accuracy and consistency across all Transitions.
• Coordinate and set up approvers for Intake form reviews
• Shepherd CRTs through documentation process, routing documents among the Stakeholder groups (Legal, Compliance, Tax, BCM, and BU's)
• Coordinate documentation review calls
• Track status of documentation and approvals and publish regular status reports
• Liaise with project stakeholders regularly; communicate project status to Senior Managers as appropriate.
• Identify, track, and resolve issues/ conflicts as needed, leveraging team mates and clients alike.
• Develop and maintain Transition-related artifacts which will include: functional requirements/ scope docs, timelines, status reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, document repositories, and reporting tools.
• Work with GWSS' internal and external clients to ensure that there is a high level of communication and awareness throughout the Transition's lifecycle.
• Build relationships across the firm with the supporting functions, including FCG, IT, HR, Corporate Services, EFS, Legal Compliance, and leverage these relationships to resolve Transition issues in order to ensure seamless transition of roles.
• Deliver the project management tools, documents, and processes for each Transition, including setting up and chairing the appropriate project governance meetings.
• Follow-up through completion- once documentation is complete, and sent out by BU's for review and/or execution, monitor progress and follow up as necessary in order to meet SLA's
• Track and report on progress of each Transition to plan, ensuring risks and issues are identified, escalated and resolved.
• Upon execution of documentation, forward final copies to BU's for upload to appropriate document repositories
• Support deployment office initiatives including Assessment Centers, space planning, IT workshops, HR planning.
• Assist the Firm in achieving its medium and long relocation strategy.
• Maintain Training and Process Documentation.

Team Structure
• The Project Coordination team to consist of 3 reps: (2) in a near shore location (Baltimore) and (1) in Mumbai
• The GWSS team has a presence in New York, London, Mumbai, Baltimore, Budapest, Glasgow, and Hong Kong

• Candidates must be able to multi-task, as many projects will run concurrently.
• Transitions generally span multiple regions, and may require meetings and work during off hours to ensure all required teams are adequately represented.
