(Junior) Real Estate Transaction Manager (m/w) recruitment
The team in Germany offers products ranging from secured pfandbrief lending to international covered bonds, loans, and asset-backed finance. The international commercial Real Estate Finance Team in Munich is currently looking for a (Junior) Transaction Credit Manager with a focus on International (UK) commercial real estate collateral. Candidates are required to have a deep understanding of UK real estate markets, and a proven track record, of both financing and credit review projects in Germany and should have a desire to work together with other senior bankers in Munich.
Description:
- The successful candidate will gather credit information and will be responsible for making lending decisions on new loans and renewals as well as perform initial file review and deal screening
- Candidates will undertake ongoing critical monitoring of portfolio positions, including changes in views using published company and industry information and correspondence with corporate issuers, sell side analysts and rating agencies
- Responsibility to monitor loan approval process to ensure compliance with requirements for approval requests
- Calculate and monitor loan covenants as established in the legal loan documents
- Analyze financial statements in order to identify and assess financial and non-financial risk
- Review appraisals and environmental reports to ensure accuracy
- Assist lenders and Loan Administration staff in loan closing activities, as needed
- Assist in the completion of annual review or quarterly problem loan reports
Skills:
- The successful candidate will have at least six years experience in commercial lending, with formal bank credit training
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (accounting/finance/economics) or equivalent work experience
- A high degree of computer literacy with particular proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills required
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and German required
- Able to work within a dynamic and international environment
- Professional, switched on, hard working, flexible, multitasking
