Junior Risk Analyst recruitment

Our Quantitative Risk Management practice focuses on the evolution of the Risk function, and the redesign of associated operating models and architecture to enable a responsive and proactive Risk posture within firms.

We advise firms at every stage of the implementation cycle, by devising strategies and approaches that enable them to leverage their investment to transform organisational performance, market positioning and overall competitiveness. 

As a Risk Analyst, you will work with our clients to understand the impacts of new Risk measurement methodologies under Basel III on firm’s operational infrastructure, balance sheets and trading strategies; and subsequently assist in the delivery of enterprise wide change.

Core Deliverables

-       Support the establishment of a risk governance structures

-       Identifying risk and owners, ensuring all risks are quantified

-       Define and implements processes around VaR models to ensure that model inputs and outputs are complete and accurate

-       Assist in management information for reporting

Experience Background

-       1 years+ relevant industry experience, in either a relevant Consultancy role or with an Insurance Company

-       An understanding of Risk Exposure Modelling Techniques (VaR, CVA)

-       Mathematical and analytical ability

-       Structured approach to Business Analysis

-       Consultancy grade Documentation skills

Qualifications and skills

-       BSc or higher within a quantitative subject

-       Demonstrated organisational ability      

-       Definition of Business / Functional Requirements

-       Effective communication skills

-       Systems and statistical knowledge
