JUNIOR SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST – NORDIC LANGUAGE SPEAKER recruitment
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Based in Frankfurt, as part of a regional team covering Central, Northern and Eastern Europe, the Junior Sales Support Specialist will be supporting the growth of our index business across the entire product range both with existing and new clients within the region. The sales team covers primarily asset managers, private banks, insurance companies, custodians and fund administrators.
In this role the new colleague will closely work together with senior sales executives and will be helping them to achieve the annual sales target and grow and maintain existing client relationships. The role will require the person to get an in depth understanding of our client base, our products and licensing policies. Depending on progress the person will be given its own client base and respective sales target.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the whole sales cycle - determine new business opportunities (researching, cold calling, floor walks etc), pipeline and renewal management, product demonstrations, proposal and contract management, product implementation and training, maintain existing client relationships and accounts
- Using internal databases to prepare revenue analysis to aid contract negotiations
- Using internal and external databases to prepare market opportunity analysis to aid sales efforts
- Helping to support and coordinate sales campaigns carried out by the sales teams
- Work closely with other functions (client service, legal, contracts, billing, etc) to ensure that all clients requests / inquiries are managed appropriately
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1-2 years experience in a client facing role (ideally client service or sales support) at a financial services company
- Strong financial academic background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English AND German AND in Sweden/Norwegian/Danish/Finnish
- Understanding of the Investment Management Process and the global financial markets with an focus on equities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines
