Junior System and Storage Engineer, Permanent, Trading, Zug, Switzerland recruitment
Are you a junior IT engineer looking for an interesting position with career development opportunity?
In this permanent position, you are responsible for the installation, configuration and operational management of the operating systems (Windows, Linux) as well as the management of unified datacenter technology (Cisco UCS, VMWare, NetApp).
Furthermore, you will take care of the management of storage related client protocols (CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, FC). You will also have the opportunity to participate in system strategy and forecasting future needs.
In order to be considered as a potential candidate, you hold a degree in IT or similar disciplines and are fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
Other requirements for this position include:
-Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
-Understanding of data storage and networking technologies (SAN, NAS)
-Knowledge to run unified datacenter technologies (Cisco UCS, VMWare, NetApp)
-Experience in simple scripting (Perl, Powershell)
-Knowledge of and experience in ITIL is an advantage
