Trading Analyst to $50K
Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Computational Finance/Finance/Math or Quant.
Combination of Finance and Math is preferred.
Prestigious International Financial Firm seeks recent grad with 1-2 years quant or financial experience and good VBA/programming skills to assist on the trading floor.
Responsibilities include:
• Exchange traded products such as treasury bonds, interest rate futures options, currency futures, treasury futures options. We deal in all major currencies USD,EUR,JPY,GBP, CAD etc..
• Accurate trade input of OTC trades into our system, based on trader models
• Daily Interest rates and volatility curves collection, analysis and input for more than 30 currencies
• Daily valuation of derivatives portfolio and accurate reporting of greeks and pl to traders and senior mgmt.
• Risk analysis and monitoring of trading activity on a daily basis
***Position is on the trading floor and work environment is fast paced. Direct contact with front office (traders and marketers). Training is on job.
Requirements:
• Less than one year of Quantitative OR Finance experience (Internship experience is also welcome)
• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Computational Finance/Finance/Math or Quant. Combination of Finance and Math is preferred.
• VBA or technical programming, strong Excel and analytical skills required.
