Job Description
Single finance point of contact to key Korean customers
• Become a demonstrated expert in the company’s top Korean customers, with a deep understanding of their business models, strategies, and financials. Demonstrate this expertise through value-added partnership with the account team supporting the customer, the regional business operations team, and senior operations and finance management.
• Build upon partnership described above to influence the support and strategy of the key accounts in product/market planning, pricing, and other areas.
• Perform benchmarking, track account performance relative to competition, internal metrics and strategic projects that involve growing the revenue/profit
• Regular financial reporting, budget and planning for resources and expenses.
Qualifications
Language skills:
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Fluent spoken Korean
Education and work experience:
• Candidate should have a degree in finance, economics, accounting, or hold a relevant technical certification (ACCA, CPA), and have 8 or more years of relevant work experience or MBA with 4 or more years of relevant work experience.
Additional qualifications:
• Independent, proactive, self-starter with high tolerance of ambiguity, and great communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence extremely competent business partners providing external acumen, independent ideas, and robust financial analysis.
• Ability to analyze public financial statements, internal data, and other public information to develop a sound financial model of a customer or competitors business.
• Comfortable in working in a cross-cultural environment with people across multiple countries and background.
• Have a deep understanding of technology, or the interest and ability to quickly learn about the business and its customers.
