Our Client is a medium sized RD focussed pharmaceutical company who are committed to developing innovative products that address unmet medical needs within specialist therapeutic areas.
The Role
The role of a Hospital Specialist will require the right candidate to manage well defined accounts within the Surrey, Sussex and Kent area. The successful candidate will be selling a specialist Endocrinology product into specialist customer groups within the secondary care environment.
Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed sales and business targets
- Develop, implement and review account plans and business strategies
- Build and develop professional long-term customer relationships with key stakeholders
- Maintain existing and new customers relationships, and keep customers fully informed with products being sold, and guide them on usage via presentations
- Collect and maintain relevant sales and customer data, further analysing the market and subsequently produce accurate reports in a timely manner.
- Manage and have ownership of the complete sales cycle and gain access to the appropriate decision makers and influencers within it
Key Skills and Experience
- Hospital sales experience
- Oncology, Haematology or Renal experience
- A sound knowledge of the territory area is preferred
- Preferably a life sciences graduate
- Experience in the major centre's on the territory would be highly advantageous
- Good business planning and organizational skills are essential
- Good communication / team skills
- An individual who is flexible to adapt as the products develop in the market place
- Proven, demonstrable successful sales track record
- Excellent interpersonal skills for quickly developing key customer relationships
