Our Client is a well respected Pharmaceutical company with a strong product portfolio who are known to invest heavily in the personal development of their sales staff.
The Role
The role of a Key Account Manager will require the right candidates to manage well defined accounts within the South London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent area. The successful candidate will be selling a specialist Hepatitis product into customers such as Haematologists, Virologists, Commissioners and any other relevant customer groups.
Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed sales and business targets
- Develop, implement and review account plans and business strategies
- Build and develop professional long-term customer relationships with key stakeholders
- Maintain existing and new customers relationships, and keep customers fully informed with products being sold, and guide them on usage via presentations
- Collect and maintain relevant sales and customer data, further analysing the market and subsequently produce accurate reports in a timely manner.
- Manage and have ownership of the complete sales cycle and gain access to the appropriate decision makers and influencers within it
Key Skills and Experience
- ABPI Qualified
- You will be educated to degree level preferably within a life sciences discipline
- You will have a strong background with specialist, secondary care sales
- You will ideally have had good experience of having strategic discussions within commissioners, medicines management and director level customers
- You are able to absorb clinical, scientific data to use and discuss with key customers
- You can build strong relationships which are both commercial and intellectual, and can adapt yourself to the customers' needs
- Possess strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and sales skills
