To proactively manage the sales and profit potential of Customer with the objective of maximizing sales, distribution and display support on all key categories. Optimizes business performance in order to achieve company goals (including - sales, profit, new item listings, deduction management) Must work with and motivate a multi-functional team covering all aspects of the channels business needs to deliver profitable volume.
- Develops strategic business partnerships, which influence Reckitt Benckiser's corporate plans supporting businesses programs.
- Guides others in understanding and acting upon Customer, Consumer and Industry insights.
- Formally aligns cross-functional business teams mutually satisfying RB and customer needs.
- Champions multi-functional resources to successfully implement brand/category strategies for each account to improve and enhance customer service.
- Partners with customer to identify new needs and enable customer satisfaction.
- Adapts knowledge of customer strategies to RB strategy to optimize sales potential.
- Creates and negotiates long term win/win business relationships.
- Creates and delivers creative customer presentations to achieve incremental opportunities.
- Seeks, creates and develops new business opportunities to build brand consumption.
- Develops and executes effective account specific marketing programs.
- Applies effective sales techniques creating a need in the customer's mind.
- Uses on-line customer specific data to identify and develop action plans satisfying customer needs.
- Utilizes competitive information benchmarking our performance and understands strategic implications.
- 4 year college degree preferred or equivalent management experience
- 4-8 years related Sales experience
- Previous experience with the specific customer account preferred
- Ability to travel required
- Strong knowledge of sales function processes and cross-functional exposure to other RB Business Operations
- Knowledge of Consumer packaged goods industry
- Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data and Customer Manager Process, as well as Microsoft Office
