Key Account Manager – Account management/sales/financial technology/big ticket solutions recruitment

They are looking for a senior candidate who has experience building relationships with existing clients and leveraging new business of existing accounts and has knowledge in one or more of the following solutions:

• Open Access

• Trading systems

• Market Data

• Database and Middleware

• OS and Network

• Financial Transactions

The Account Director will report in to the Head of Sales for Europe.  He/She will grow strong partnerships with key accounts. The role entails both business development through strategic and direct sales activities (client visits, prospecting, cold calling, floor walks etc) and maintaining existing client relationships and account and collaborate closely with internal departments (Client Service, Legal, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance/billing) to achieve swift closure on sales opportunities. This role is a highly visible one, with involvement in all aspects of an account including senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, sales closing, product implementation and training.

Other key responsibilities with include the following:

• Growing current customer revenue

• Continual market assessment for management

• Detailed revenue reporting and forecasting

• Work closely with function heads and marketing manager to develop product marketing plan

• Attend relevant industry events

• Support development of sales and support literature

• Monitor customer satisfaction
