Kondor + Infrastructure Support Analyst
London Based Investment Bank seek a Kondor + Infrastructure Support Analyst perm £65-75K + Bonus and Benefits. The role will involve keeping the Kondor System running. You MUST have solid technical skills with Kondor + (install / monitoring); Sybase and Unix/ Linux (Including systems building, configuration and administration).You will provide day to day technical support for the Kondor+ Application and their database environments. You will have extensive experience of the related technical platforms, including system building, configuration and administration to an advanced level. DBA experience of the relevant database systems. Network analysis skills including all appropriate platform protocols in use. Disk Management Software. An understanding of database logging and recovery and how to recover from the various failure scenarios, include master database corruption. Knowledge of developing and maintaining high-quality and reliable testing procedures. An understanding of network, multi-user access and locking issues. Recognising critical operations and knowing when to use careful planning preparation, rather than action. Very good performance tuning experience and background particularly with regards to the Kondor applications and their technical platforms. Technical wise Unix Thin Client management knowledge. Advantageous skills are SUN Hardware - Star Fire technologies, Shell Scripting, Java, Veritas Cluster Software, JumpStart, Patch Management, Solaris Security, Linux, Terminal Servers, Web Servers, XML, Dump/Restore/networker (NetBackup). Responsibilities include Specifying, configuring and implementing the designated Kondor application.
