Technical Support Analyst. Our client needs a strong Technical Support Analyst with Unix / Linux, Sybase and Kondor+ skills to maintain and support an Investment Banks trading systems. The Technical Support Analyst will provide daily support, administration and DBA within Unix, Linux and Sybase technologies for Front Office applications.
The Technical Support Analyst will require the following knowledge:
• Linux, Unix, Sybase environment experience
• Kondor+
• Technical platforms including system building, configuration and administration
• DBA experience of the relevant database systems
• Awareness of multi platform environments and integration
• Development and maintenance of reliable testing procedures
• Performance and tuning with regard to Front Office applications
Essential skills required include:
• Unix Thin client management
• Sybase
• Linux
• Shell scripting, Java, Veritas, Linux
• RTW, Kobra, DAC’s, Tibco, Redevouz
• Perl Scripting, Microsoft SQL server administration, Kernel Configuration
• EMC Disk Storage
• Dump / Restore / Networker (netbackup)
• Kondor+ is highly desirable
