Lab Technicians 2nd and 3rd shift Job in Goshen 10924, New York US
Great company located in Goshen, NY is seeking experienced Lab Technicians to join its 2nd and 3rd shift teams. The facility packages toner for copy machines in a semi-automated assembly environment.
DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will be responsible to perform the following job duties:
- Understand all primary job functions for Quality.
- Basic graphs
- Control Charts
- Use precision test equipment to test physical properties of in-process and finished toner by performing tests as detailed in the appropriate specification.
- Packaging testing- Filling Line inspection/bottle box inspection
- Accurately measure the critical dimensions on bottles, caps and kit boxes using precision measuring equipment. Visually inspect for defects and requirements to the specification.
- Standardization
- Make procedures, work instructions and forms related quality of products. Trains operators to follow the standard.
- Make up corrective actions for non-conformances and implements each actions. Trains operators to follow the actions.
REQUIREMENT:
- Ability to execute precise visual evaluations.
- Must be able to read, write and learn from written documentation.
- Computer skills: Excel (graph, chart, table, statistical analysis, data input, etc.), Microsoft Word.
- Good mathematical skills, with Algebra II as minimum and college Calculus preferred
- Observational and detail oriented.
- Measurement technique skill (caliper, height gauge, scale, testing equipment).
- CMM experience plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of related job experience working in a quality / inspection environment.
- High school graduate with additional technical school or college level courses. Associates degree in engineering or physical science preferred.
