The Company has an immediate full time Laboratory Supervisor opening. You will be responsible for the overall supervision of the laboratory department in an efficient, economic and quality manner. You will supervise, coordinate and participate in activities of workers performing various tests of raw product and ensure procedures, processes and/or SOPs are followed.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations. He/she will have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors and managers; as well as the ability to apply mathematical and scientific concepts to practical situations. The candidate will also possess reasoning abilities, strong critical thinking skills and good organizational abilities. Must have strong background in supervising people.
Requirements
Work Experience: (5+) years’ experience preferred and three (3) years Supervisory experience. Proficiency in lab test processes and procedures; this is a working leadership position so previous laboratory experience is a must.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering or related field preferred. Significant experience working in a laboratory may be substituted for education. Quality Assurance background a plus.
