Laboratory Technician Job
Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our client in Vonore, TN.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support to the program, in order to characterize streams coming out of the various unit operations.
- This individual will be responsible for carrying out existing analytical methods, as well as modifying existing methods for different types of samples or developing and validating new methods.
- Maintaining analytical equipment (including HPLC, GC, IC, Densitometers and automatic titrators) and performing calibrations will also be required.
- Maintains knowledge and skill for equipment and processes assigned including maintenance.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Science, preferably Chemistry.
- Broad knowledge /experience with analytical procedures with particular expertise in chromatography (HPLC, GC, IC).
- Familiarity with GC and LC instruments and associated software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with assays, measurements, troubleshooting, calibrating, and interpreting results.
- Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and its science.
- Broad knowledge /experience with analytical procedures with particular expertise in chromatography (HPLC, GC, IC)

- Demonstrated ability to work independently with assays, measurements, troubleshooting, calibrating, and interpreting results.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute work to meet needs and timelines
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to changing demands
- Excellent documentation communication skills
- Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience and skill at developing strong team interactions
- Drug Screen and Criminal/Work History Background Check required before start.
