LatAm Interest Rate trader – NYC recruitment
Leading global investment bank looking to take on a highly experienced local market vanilla Interest Rate/ FX trader with a focus on Latin American markets out of London. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing sizeable risk as well as being a confident risk taker in the market. Experience market making other CEEMEA markets is preferable as the trader may be required to cover other books from time to time.
Responsibilities for:
- Market make BRL, PEN, COP Forwards/ swaps/swaptions / CASH BONDS
- Manage own risk on daily basis
- Liase with sales force and other business areas
- Be able to manage more junior traders
Skills / Attributes required for:
- Minimum 2 years LatAm trading experience
- Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
- Proven track record of strong PnLs in this space
