L&D Manager, Special Programmes recruitment

Roles and Responsibilities

- Development of the Learning and Development strategy for various teams that sit within our sub-service lines; designing the curriculum using a blend of learning interventions that deliver leading edge, highly engaging, interactive and cost effective learning interventions.
- Design, development and delivery of LD courses and programmes that support business critical initiatives. Examples are: the design and implementation of the Graduate Induction programme, ownership of the PT Induction programme and design of elite modules for Partner Development and Acquisition integration programmes.
- Manage the relationship with key stakeholders - Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and Performance Managers, fulfilling the role of LD expert and trusted advisor and contributing to the business, people and strategic agenda. Delivering financial management and reporting capabilities across a range of KPI's and metrics.
- Provide expert LD advice to learners to support career and development paths.
- Manage the LD budget, allocated from the over-arching LD budget, approving budgetary spend, forecasting, course life cycle management and communication.

Qualifications and Skills

- Degree or relevant equivalent
- Appropriate professional qualification (HR, OD, Learning Design) or equivalent professional experience
- Strong project management skills with experience of managing multiple projects to tight deadlines Able to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively
- Strong relationship building skills and effective stakeholder management skills.

Experience and Background

- Demonstrable experience across Learning Development with strong training design, development and facilitation skills - experience of designing Graduate, Induction and Senior Manager Programmes desirable.
- Previous Learning and Development experience gained preferably from within a consultancy firm
- Experience of designing programmes that are high impact and far reaching Budget management, forecasting and reporting experience
- May require some travel in and outside of the UK to attend/deliver residential courses
