Lead Business Analyst – VP recruitment
Our client is one of the world's largest and most prestigious investment banks. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Business Analyst within their Client Services area at their City of London offices.
The Business Analysis team will be responsible delivering key aspects of the Analysis phase (Business Requirements, process flows, current/future state diagrams etc.), and will then have the opportunity to roll into the implementation phase working on the migration of the clients. The key responsibilities of the Lead Business Analyst will be:
- To work closely with operations, technology and front-office groups globally to define and implement significant new requirements
- Develop detailed, structured, transparent and complete business requirements documentations (process flows, state diagrams etc.)
- Develop, document and implement revised front-to-back business processes changes
- Provide regular status updates to core team and senior managers
- Ensure effective communication of all change, ensuring that the relevant front office, operations and technology stakeholders are engaged and all issues and risks are identified and escalated
- Devise and document risk-based testing plans, and support testing teams to resolve UAT issues across internal operations and technical teams as well as external counterparts, clients and market utility providers
As such, the successful Lead Business Analyst will possess the following:
- Prior experience of business analysis or plan management in a financial services operational or technology environment
- Experience of OTC derivative middle office and/or back office processing
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Logical, structured approach to planning and problem solving and decision-making
- Strong risk and controls awareness
- On-boarding skills
- Extensive experience of the Client Onboarding process in an Investment Bank environment
- Extensive knowledge of the KYC process
