There is a new role with an Investment Bank in London, looking for a Lead Java Developer to design and implement a series of new applications for their Capital Markets Derivatives IT Group, as part of a major re-architecture/re-engineering programme.
The team offer an environment based on extensive business interaction, a varied and challenging role and rapid progression.
They are about to launch a major programme to re-architect and re-engineer their Capital Markets Systems across asset-classes. They require a Lead Developer to design and implement a series of new applications and functionality for the platforms, using Core Java, Spring, Hibernate and highly multi-threaded code.
You will be responsible for leading IT initiatives, operating across the full lifecycle facing off to multiple business groups to deliver a series of new applciations.
You must have the following skills and experience to be considered:
Essential:
- Extensive Core Java programming experience
- Extensive and in-depth Design knowledge
- Multi-Threading
- Spring
- Hibernate
- Experience leading IT intiatives
Preferred:
- Investment Banking background
- XML/XSLT/XSD messaging
- Database Development (Sybase)
