Lead Financial accountant
A 3-month temporary job opportunity has arisen for a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant to join a blue chip business in Hampshire.
Role:
· Ensure that accurate financial statements are prepared in accordance IFRS reporting standards.
· Responsible for formal sign off of the monthly financial statements, including PL, B/S for regional entities.
· Monitor account reconciliation prepared by global shared services.
· Co- ordinate quarterly audit and ensure all deadlines and standards are met.
· Assist in preparation of statutory accounts
· Liaise with senior finance teams to ensure the process is prepared and completely accurately.
Candidate requirements
Our client is looking for a determined and competent accountant with strong communication skills, as well as the following.
· Strong working knowledge of IFRS and SOX requirements
· Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
· Strong technical accounting and audit skills
· Confident in Excel, SAP,
This role is for an immediate start.
