Lead Fixed Income BA
A Large Asset Manager is looking for a Strong Lead Fixed Income BA that can be the pain point of contact for IT and the business on he Global rollout of a bespoke Fixed Income Trading system. The department is undergoing some change with this opportunity openig as the right hand person to the head of Fixed Income IT. it has a global remet and will be working directly with the Fixed Income Business.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake business analysis and prototyping / implementation of ongoing and new initiatives within the Fixed Income division (Risk Exposure Reporting /Analytics Provision / Performance Attribution / implementation of Third Party Risk applications).
- To build a strong working relationship with key stakeholders to ensure delivery is in line with the strategic direction for Investment Fixed Income systems.
- To ensure appropriate identification of business requirements / needs and to provide effective solutions in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Work with other groups within IT as needed to ensure the effective support and delivery.
Essential Skills:
- Experience within the Fixed Income arena in Financial Services.
- Previous exposure to and ability to work well with front office personnel.
- Have experience of general IT management and working practise including.
- Experience of working with global stakeholders and teams.
Business Areas:
- Have a demonstrable track record of working within a front office environment within an Investment Bank / Financial Services environment on a strategic front / middle office system (3+ years)
- Exposure to any capital market products (fixed income and OTC derivatives)
- Strong fixed income knowledge and an understanding of the investment process
Desirables:
- Packages - some exposure to any of :-
- Factset and Bloomberg
- Any Investment Management package i.e. Charles River, Simcorp Dimension, B-One, Thinkfolio, Latent Zero
