Overview
Our client is a leading international brand name in apparel design and manufacturing, with a global brand presence in fashion, sportswear and accessories. Asia remains an engine of growth for them and due to expanding business plans for South-East Asia; they are keen for a technically-sound HR practitioner to join their strong HR Shared Services team inSingapore.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of mobility services across Asia Pacific, and be engaged in vendor management so as to effectively execute global mobility programmes. You will be depended upon to monitor and supervise the day-to-day efforts in coordinating various vendors on regional scale, ensuring policy compliance, quality of data, accuracy and adherence to global Service-Level Agreements. You are expected to provide stewardship for matters relating to legal, tax, logistics, pricing and HR systems for the client's mobility operations. Being a subject-matter expert, you will be looked upon for guidance by line and country managers for a truly mobile workforce.
Requirements
First and foremost, the client is looking for a people-orientated and engaging HR professional, who has developed relevant expertise in managing and monitoring global mobility operations. You must be a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent, with at least 3 years of solid and effective Singapore-based experience in mobility; it is highly preferred that you are a Certified Global Mobility Specialist. You must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills; speaking different languages is advantageous but not compulsory, what is more important is your familiarity to a multi-cultural environment. Experience in Peoplesoft and SAP HR will be advantageous.
