Lead Java-C# Commodities Architect recruitment
My client is a leading commodities trading firm who are a market leader in physical commodities with a turnover of over $80billion covering more than 40 countries globally. They require a senior Architect who will join a team responsible for defining and policing the strategy for the firm-wide technology. Part of the task of the group is to define and implement middleware and development tooling standards. The Architect required will be very much hands on and come from a technical background.
You will have/currently had experience evaluating and selecting relevant middleware packages and development tools for a large scale commodities system; act as the design authority on selected technologies that will enhance the firm-wide architecture; have an in depth knowledge of Commodities; generate and scale the deployment capability, process and tooling and has experience with the following/similar technologies: Java, C#, RabbittMQ, Scripting (e.g. Ruby, Python, unix shell scripting), Scala, Continuous Integration, Message Oriented Middleware. Successful candidates will have extensive commodities knowledge, be team players who are extremely technical and have architected Java servers with C# front ends.
