The Performance Lead will oversee the Pharmacy Performance Testing service. All performance related activities within Walgreens Pharmacy IT will be required to be arranged through the Performance Lead. Responsible to develop and execute performance test strategy, setup performance test environment. Responsible in Pharmacy IT to deliver performance test service, tuning, and to maintain a performance baseline of the business critical applications. Job Responsibilities Develops and executes pharmacy performance test strategy. Designs, builds and deploys performance testing tuning and diagnostic service. Monitors and controls test methods usage and uptake. Manages and reports on testing operations, such as utilization and efficiency. Uses solid understanding of Application Development, architecture and technical/business test requirements to develop and implement test strategy and deliver sustainable, stable solutions. Defines performance load, endurance test, response time and the benchmark for each test.to assure tests meet industry standards. Reviews and approves performance test strategy, scope and serves as a point of contact for performance related inquiries. Communicates technical details, translates technical data and presents / explains test strategies to upper level executives during presentations, including but not limited to impact analysis. Manages distribution and reviews analysis of test metrics. Manages performance test team and perform audits of delivery Coordinates, prioritizes and executes performance testing for Pharmacy IT Manages and serves as point of contact for third party vendors. Collaborates with environment team to setup performance test region and maintains the upgrades.
