Posted Position Title: Lead Scheduler - OHV Career Level: Experienced Function Manufacturing Function Segment: Materials Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Texas City: Fort Worth Postal Code: 76137-2460 Relocation Assistance Yes Role Summary/Purpose: The Lead Scheduler will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes across two manufacturing units. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. Essential Responsibilities - Provide leadership and strategic direction for the planning team and ensure integration with critical business processes / functions - Lead the creation of detailed plan requirements, utilizing advanced planning tools to optimize customer service levels, inventory, resource utilization, and total costs - Lead the analysis and determination of appropriate order, inventory, and replenishment policies - Determine priorities to match available supply to demands to achieve established customer contract obligations and operational business goals - Ensure the use of modeling data and collaborative problem solving for execution of optimization simulations and recovery scheduling - Understand and articulate the necessity of the contributions of each department to successfully meet inventory and customer CTQs - Ensure application of all best practices, Lean and Six Sigma in the planning, sourcing, management of inventory and capacity - Establish basic rules and responsibilities of planners - Prioritize planner responsibilities for simplification and process improvements - Drive Global Mindset into Scheduling by businesses best practices sharing - Ensure all employees complete all internal training Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing - At least 3 additional years of experience in manufacturing Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
