Lead Technical Architect recruitment
Lead Technical Architect - 6 month rolling contract - East Sussex.
My client, a FTSE 100 bluechip, are looking for a Lead Technical Architect who specialises in EMV or EMVCo at both a technical and business level. You will be required to represent my client with both internal business partners and industry counterparts, as well as interacting with test tool suppliers and test labs - presenting my client's view on technical issues.
You will be required to sit on various weekly working groups, for example; Security, EMCCo Level 1, Mobile Payments, Contactless. Knowledge of credit/debit cards, acceptance devices, contactless, mobile and NFC is important and experience of interoperability issues would be of interest.
Experience of developing, testing or implementing contact/contactless smartcards and acceptance devices, or working in the field of mobile/NFC based credit/debit payment. Use and understanding of International/national standards and specifications - EMV Level 1 2, ITSO, ISO7816, ISO14443, ISO10373, ISO9564, ISO18092, FIPS140-2, PCI.
Previous experience working for at least one of the following would be beneficial: one of the Payment Schemes, a Test Tool Supplier, a Test Lab, a Terminal Vendor or an Acquirer.
Whilst this is a technically focussed role, the ability to also present and talk to senior business stakeholders, both externally and internally, is absolutely key.
