Lead Teller – Clear Lake

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Lead Teller - Clear Lake - Houston, TX

Reviews, monitors, and coordinates scheduling and workflow of Tellers in a banking center. Ensures that Tellers are in compliance with bank policies and procedures by observing daily work assignments. Ensures that there is an appropriate cash supply, orders currency shipments as needed, and verifies money shipped to banking center. Opens and closes vault daily, controls cash in vault, and distributes daily cash to Tellers. This position has the same Teller transaction approval levels as the Teller Service Manager to assist in the efficient daily operations of the banking center. Reviews banking center proof, Teller recap, and reporting. Performs Teller functions as required.

Requires a High School degree or equivalent and 4+ years of directly related Teller experience. Contributes to the development of new theories and methods. Advanced knowledge of Teller cashiering/money handling practices; fraud compliance, detection, and prevention; retail banking products and services; bank operations.
