Description
Position will require regular interaction with business and IT leaders, vendors and business users from front, middle and back offices.
Responsibilities
oParticipate in and support the architectural design decisions regarding interface, internal process and reporting solutions within and between Citi systems
oProvide technical advice, design, analysis, custom code development, and troubleshooting as well as configuration, testing, and production support of Citi's technical solutions
oProvide guidance and mentoring to technical analysts for custom technical components of Citi's technical solutions
oDemonstrate strong knowledge in multiple development languages/approaches such as Openlink AVS/JVS, C, C++, C#, J2EE, .NET, and/or VB.NET as well as use of XML, TIBCO, Java and related tools
oDemonstrate strong proficiency in one or more business areas (trading, risk management, logistics, etc.)
oPresent the project's technical solution to peers and the business community
oDocument technical requirements, code specifications, test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project
oCommunicate status of assigned responsibilities
Qualifications
oMinimum 5+ years direct experience with systems design, coding, configuration, testing, and debugging reports, scripts, and interfaces for commodity trading systems
oMinimum of 2+ years experience implementing and supporting Commodity Trading Risk Management (CTRM) solutions using systems such as Openlink Endur, Solarc Right Angle, Triple Point Commodity XL, SunGard Entegrate or other CTRM/ETRM solution is required
oExperience with Global Bulk Physical Commodities (LNG, Oil, Refined Products, Coal, Metals, Ags, etc.) processing solutions with particular emphasis on Crude and Refined products is preferred
oBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required, Masters or higher preferred
oStrong client-facing skills including good written and oral communication skills
oAbility to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
oAbility to work as part of a project team structure
oAbility to work outside of normal business hours as required to achieve business objectives
