We require a dedicated Lean Deployment Programme Manager to join our professional team so we will continue to provide an outstanding reputation for innovation, quality, performance and reliability, plus the best pre and post sales support the industry has to offer. Duties:

•Responsible for implementing Cummins Operating Standards (COS) in a consistent way over all operations and for the Identification and analysis of complex and challenging improvement projects aligned to the COS practices and lean manufacturing principles.
•Work with operations leaders and shop floor personnel to provide education and training on the COS practices and lean principles to speed project implementation and ongoing sustainable improvement.
•Create and execute a programme management process for generation, prioritisation and delivery of 6 Sigma, Kaizen and other improvement projects on time and to plan thereby creating step change.
•Build capability within the operations teams, in support of delivering improved financial results which will provide technical guidance and coaching on complex projects and Value Stream Transformations.
•Communicates with global locations to develop and agree manufacturing metrics that are consistently applied across all global operations.
•Lead the process of education and training of operations personnel utilising external bodies where appropriate and necessary to facilitate the process of learning and development.

You should ideally have a degree or equivalent experience, together with desired experience in six sigma leadership. Previous experience of lean manufacturing principles and significant process improvement and demonstrated capability to implement the theory. In depth knowledge and experience of coaching and sustainable deployment of lean tools desirable. Experience leading major changes across multiple global facilities and multiple global cultures is preferred and you should also be able to demonstrate a desire to progress and succeed; be able to work as part of a team or work independently.
