MI Accountant recruitment

As part of the control and MI team your prime responsibility will be the provision of quality MI support to the Front Office, additional responsibilities will include key deliverables such as monthly PL and balance sheet MI reporting, quarterly forecasting and the annual budgeting.

You will also be liaising with senior managers, head office and front office so developing/ maintaining working relationships with staff in numerous departments is an integral and critical part of the role. This will require you to possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and a good understanding of the various areas within a large bank.

The candidate must be able to present logical and well-reasoned analysis to finance and non finance individuals alike with the ability to pick up key issues quickly, be a strong team player but also conscientious and diligent to take responsibility for their own actions.

Main duties will include but are not limited to:

Maintaining and developing stakeholder relationships, Monthly balance sheet forecasting, Preparation of monthly expenses flash and expense commentary for UK MI reports, Provide assistance and support in the quarterly forecasting budget and annual budgeting exercise and Work with wider finance team on process improvement, project work and ad hoq work as it arises
