Learning and Development Consultant

The central learning and development consultant will take responsibility for delivering a planned calendar of learning solutions to support the Head office population in the achievement of these Business goals.

This role will deliver internal training courses and interventions to the Head office population and organise a high quality supply of external trainers, where appropriate and within the agreed central training plan.

Scope:

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development
Work within a team
Managing the Training plan 
Managing the external supplier delivery for Head office locations.
Delivering high quality Training courses.
Managing budget.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders

Responsibilities:

Construct and manage the central training plan,
Plan, schedule, and organise the  training 
 "Train the Trainer" interventions, as identified by the Head of Learning Services
Collaborates closely with Design Team 
Identifies and responds to evaluation, taking action to improve effectiveness
Manages stakeholder relationships, particularly with HRBPs, PP and Business Heads, as appropriate.
Delivers high quality training interventions as provided by the training design team and directed by the Head of Learning Services, including central induction courses.
Takes responsibility for identified training for new Head Office joiners during the on boarding period
Develops and manages processes.
Meets KPIs and budgets
Manages selection, costs and quality of suppliers utilised for delivery of central training courses Participate in and deliver projects as directed by the Head of Learning Services

Knowledge and experience

Understanding and experience
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent communication skills, both written verbal.
Credibility at a senior level and ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders enthusiastically
Knowledge of training theory, especially learning styles
Knowledge of training evaluation methods
Strong planning and organisational skills
Evidence of supplier relationship and budget management
