Within PwC's Consulting business, the team services the Learning Development (LD) needs of approximately 1,100 staff across Australia. As such, it is dynamic, proactive and an integral part of the firm's success. We currently have an outstanding opportunity for an L D Manager to join this team in our Melbourne office on a 12 month fixed term contract, where they will assist in the delivery of an excellent Learning and Development program. You will be part of a credible and high performing team that is committed to implementing effective, innovative and meaningful development solutions to its clients, that has a reputation within Consulting for delivering significant and substantial results. The role is responsible for the delivery of all LD programs to the Consulting business.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working in conjunction with the Consulting Learning and Development team to upgrade Core Consulting curriculum programs

- Providing program design advice to program teams

- Partnering with the Development team to facilitate the quality of curriculum content and delivery through a blended learning format including team based learning, e-learning, case studies, small group work etc

- Building up facilitator pools for all new programs

- Managing all external vendor relationships where appropriate

- Managing program design teams to ensure deadlines are adhered to. This will require managing upwards

- Managing participants: invitations, enrolments, drop-outs and waiting lists

- Managing on site logistics: room bookings, catering and program materials

- Liaising with global and East Cluster LD contacts to sense-check content against the global Core Consulting Curriculum

- Working with the Consulting LD team, and underlying program teams, to devise and manage program rollout schedules

- Understanding and communicating how individual programs fit within the overall curriculum

- Understanding the learning objectives and disseminating correct information about the Core Consulting curriculum, including running reports from the learning management system to aid clients in the decision-making process.

- In addition to the key responsibilities outlined above, the candidate may play an additional project management role in additional initiatives at the direction of the Consulting LD lead.

To be successful in your application you must have:

- Experience in Learning Development within a professional services environment

- Proven ability to manage projects, including prioritising multiple projects and working to tight deadlines

- Instructional design expertise

- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence. Confidence in managing more senior stakeholders

- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships across stakeholder groups

- Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal and facilitation) and strong attention to detail

- Experience in preparing and managing budgets

- Excellent planning and time management skills

- Innovative creative mind set, able to identify opportunities and explore alternative approaches to program design

- Demonstrated capacity to work within a large team with effective results

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines

- Passion for learning development and an appreciation of how development supports business objectives.
