LEASING ADMINISTRATOR Job in Roma, Lazio Italy

For our Client, a leading Company in the development and management of shopping centres, we are searching for a:

 

LEASING ADMINISTRATOR

to assist the Leasing team in the effective implementation of the property leasing strategy.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

·         In advance of leasing agreements, prepare all tenant financial appraisals and relevant Leasing pro forma and obtain all financial accounts, Investor consents, Bank consents and floor plans with the aim of getting the tenant open in the shortest time possible.

 

·         Monitor the internal approval process and proactively seek to rectify any outstanding issues to ensure the process runs smoothly.

 

·         Interface between tenants and the leasing managers to facilitate the flow of information and ensure best practice is maintained.

 

·         Assist Leasing Managers to negotiate lease renewals and new leasing deals to ensure the optimum outcome.

 

·         Draft Heads of Terms and obtain necessary consents ready for legal instruction to ensure risk is minimised.

 

·         Prepare, issue and complete all tenant licences on behalf of Leasing Managers, negotiating terms where necessary in order to maximise benefit for the owner.

 

·         Provide support to Leasing Managers on resolving outstanding commercial points once the deal is in Solicitors hands so that the deal is not jeopardised when advantageous to the business.

 

·         Manage and produce the bi-monthly Leasing Summary Spreadsheet and assist in the preparation of the Board and investor reports, producing accurate and timely information.

 

·         Assist in leasing projects and provide ad hoc administrative support to the Leasing team to enable them to make effective use of their time and meet their commitments.

·         Proactively seek opportunities for operational efficiency and suggest ways to improve the leasing function to save the business time and money.

 

Knowledge and Skills

 

·          Educated to Law Degree

·          Fluent English essential

·          Knowledge of product, tenants and working environment

·          Knowledge of “going concerns” lease agreements

·          Experience of lease renewal/licensing process

·          Experience of working with legal specialists to process leases

·          Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution

·          Provide legal advice

·          IT skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

·          Immediate availability
