Warawara, Department of Indigenous Studies is an academic and student support unit situated within the Faculty of Arts. Our academic programs include the Bachelor of Community Management, an Indigenous Studies major and a HDR program. In 2012 we will begin delivering the Master of Indigenous Education in distance mode. In addition we work closely with the Institute of Early Childhood on the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Services). Staff are undertaking research in a variety of Indigenous related areas.
 
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Indigenous academic to add to the current teaching staff within the department, particularly in the area of Indigenous Studies. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the scholarly community within Warawara, through responsibility for academic program coordination, research, teaching and associated administration.
