Legal Counsel – Banking and Securities Law recruitment

As Legal Counsel, you will be mainly dealing with legal issues relating to Clearstream#s custody and settlement business with a focus on banking and securities law. The core of your activities will be on providing legal assistance to internal customers.
Your responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft and review contracts for Clearstream
- Provide internal legal opinions and advise on legal issues related to Clearstream business
- Coordinate legal tasks in relation with internal projects
Our requirements
- Law degree (honours or above). A postgraduate degree in law is an asset.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the finance industry or in a law firm with focus on securities and banking law.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg legal and regulatory environment
- Fluent in both written and spoken English. French and German will be an advantage.
